Yamato's room is more or less exactly how he left it, which in this case means 'slightly more disorganised than its usual strict neatness.'

He leads Quentin in, and quickly sets about doing just a little bit of tidying, enough that it's just a shade closer to how it usually is.

Quentin moves to help as he can tell that the tidiness is off, its something that he and Yamato are alike about. Then he starts looking for something to put on that can be easily ignored or helpful.

As soon as it's a little tidier, Yamato relaxes slightly, almost imperceptibly.

As far as his film collection goes, it's fairly vast, and spans a multitude of genres -- although the Bar provided most of them. Yamato's not even seen the majority of them.

The relaxing is a good sign and Quentin picks a hockey movie, he has no idea why Yamato has a hockey movie but it should work.

Once its in he runs his hand along Yamato's back, "Hey, all set."

"Thanks," Yamato says, giving him a weak smile. "Er, feel free to get yourself something to drink or eat, okay?"

"I had breakfast before I found you so I'm good for a while,"

He moves to hold Yamato a little more.

"How long has it been here, anyway?" Yamato asks, leaning against Quentin a little.

[heatherandsteel]

"I don't know. I've been coming and going, but at least a week or two,"

Quentin ruffles Yamato's hair this time.

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Huh. What've you been up to in your world?"

[heatherandsteel]

"Still settling things in the house, my lessons and helping Toby with cases, nothing that interesting."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Lucky for some," Yamato says, a little wryly (and a lot tiredly). "C'mon, let's sit down."

He nods and still holding onto Yamato heads to the couch, "Yes."

"What'd you pick out, anyway?"

[heatherandsteel]

"A hockey movie, I have no idea why its on your shelves but it looks good."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Bar keeps my supply of movies pretty well stocked, I guess," Yamato says as he slumps down onto the couch, shutting his eyes.

Quentin puts his arm around Yamato as the movie starts, its a classic story of a smaller team making its way to a championship, "She does."

Yamato makes a quiet noise, settling against Quentin.

"Should've figured you'd pick a hockey movie," he notes, wryly.

"I like hockey, its a fun game and so far this movie's showing it pretty well,"

And he grew up watching it, it reminds him of other places.

"My preferred sport's always been boxing," Yamato says. "... Although I know more about soccer and tennis from going to Taichi and Sora's games than I really should."

"I know how that goes. I'll teach you about hockey if you want."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"I'm not against that idea."

[heatherandsteel]

"I can start now,"

There's a game going on in the movie and he starts explaining what's happening along with adding commentary on the quality of play.

Yamato listens fairly intently from his spot resting against Quentin, although he does, eventually, move to lift his head a little and kiss Quentin on the cheek.

He smiles at the kiss and kisses Yamato on the mouth, but a light one, making out isn't always the answer.

Yamato musters a quick smile, resting his forehead against Quentin's.

"You're pretty cute when you're rambling about hockey, I'll give you that."

"Hockey is cool and underappreciated,"

The smile's a good sign and Quentin rests his hand in Yamato's hair.
