The Seal Man, and Other Tales, with Barry and Cisco
Jyou's located a short walk away -- a little way south-east, over a bridge to another one of the islands that make up Odaiba, past a construction site repairing some light damage from a Digimon battle, and to the southernmost tip of one of the islands.
But he's there, sat on a bench with a textbook in hand and a white, orange-mohawked sea lion slumped around his shoulders like a scarf.
"Hope we didn't keep you waiting," Yamato says, as Jyou looks up at them and flicks down his glasses.

Barry uses bursts of speeds to move back out of the way and side to side to avoid those swings. The way they buffet the air, he's sure that just one would probably take his head off.
He's also very mindful of those claws, and decides his best bet is to stay just out of range while also carefully maneuvering around so that they're fighting away from the broadcast building.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk more science?" Barry asks, speeding to one side of MadLeomon and then back around to the other to avoid punches and hopefully draw the Digimon back away further from the building.

Zudomon hefts his hammer, raising it over his shoulder, and then throws it, letting it fly in ever expanding rings moving outwards, knocking swarms of Mantaraymon back.
"I'm going to eat your entire face," MadLeomon replies, turning to follow Barry.
He's easily enough led away from the building, following with short, stomping footsteps. He scrapes a claw across the ground as he goes, and veins of poison spread out across the concrete, branching and curving towards Barry.

Not sure what he's up against, Barry moves to the side, watching to see how doggedly those veins are going to pursue him.

MadLeomon gives a protesting bellow, as if to communicate that it's not meant to sound great for Barry, and swings around to start stomping after him.
The veins of poison curve towards him as he moves, but they don't have that much flexibility or range, eventually petering out and stopping without vanishing, leaving the ground marred with rivulets of bubbling, black ichor.

"So what's this guy's name?" Cisco asks, patting the Digimon. "If it's not Valhallamon you two are missing an opportunity."
no subject
Barry knows there are still people who need to be evacuated from the broadcast building, and he needs to figure out something to do with this Digimon.
Trying to exchange blows probably wouldn't be the best strategy, what with MadLeomon's size and the poison and acid thing going for him, so Barry does some quick thinking and when MadLeomon comes at him again Barry zips across the street. There he waits until the last moment before he turns around and grabs onto the fire hydrant behind him; using his speed to vibrant the cap until it bursts open, spewing water towards MadLeomon.

"Zudomon," Jyou says. "Like a hammer thud. You know, zudon~ ... We didn't pick the name, though, it's in his code."
MadLeomon is storming towards Barry when that stream of high-pressure water hits him, and he's stymied for a moment, forced to adjust his footing and turn his head away, flailing both hands at the water.
He gives a bellow, trying to push through the water and towards the hydrant, one hand stretched out in front of him.
no subject
Cisco considers that one for a moment before nodding in approval.
"Yeah, okay, I dig that."
no subject
Hoping that the hydrant and water spray will serve as a distraction long enough for him to do the next part, Barry leaves MadLeomon to fight the hydrant and takes off for the broadcast building.
He sweeps each floor, looking for anyone still needing to be evacuated, ready to speed them out and down to the nearest shelter, well aware he needs to return to the fight with MadLeomon before the Digimon can set his sights on the building again.

A moment later, Zudomon hefts his hammer up, reaching up towards the sky with it, and the grey-black metal lights up as bolts of electricity arc out of it, crackling into the water to seek out Mantaraymon.
"There. That should give us a few minutes of space," Jyou remarks.
There's a handful of people inside, scattered across the various floors, some watching the unfolding battle from the windows, some taking shelter under their desks. None of them resist much when they're sped out, save for a few yelps as something too fast to see whisks them away.

At the very least he chooses ducking over jumping overboard.
"Geez, you all with the lightning!"
no subject
The whole time he's worried about MadLeomon and also setting someone on fire.
Fortunately he manages to avoid the later, and finally returns to the former; out of breath and taking a moment to try and catch it while assessing the situation.
"I didn't eat nearly enough pizza," he sighs.
no subject
"Lightning is good!" He protests. "Sometimes! Occasionally!"
There's probably going to be a few stories going around about the Apologetic Wind that rushed people to shelters, at least.
When he gets back, MadLeomon is crushing the fire hydrant under one foot, apparently intent that it should not be used against him again.
There's a quick melody of beeps from the Analyser app, and another hologram of Yamato -- full-size this time, in his Hybrid form and a little bloodied -- materialises nearby.
"Status report, aniki. Are you okay?"

"Are you okay?" he returns, immediately spotting the blood.
"I'm alright. The broadcast building has been evacuated and I'm just trying to make friends with this guy."
Barry points at MadLeomon.

"I'm fine, just having a spirited discussion with some folks. Good work clearing the broadcast centre," Yamato says, flicking an ear. His eyes flick over to MadLeomon, and he quickly brings up a holographic window, tapping a few keys. "He's an Adult-level, so he's not fully evolved yet -- there should be only so much he can shrug off before he runs out of durability."
no subject
"Although, a lightning strike is how Barry got his powers, so I guess it can't be all bad."
no subject
Barry eyes MadLeomon, who looks far less than happy at this point, and asks Yamato, "Alright. I was maybe thinking Super Sonic Punch. Good idea? Bad idea?"
no subject
Important scientific questions.
"Enthusiastic debate," Yamato deadpans, as clarification.
His gaze flicks over to a display somewhere at his side, then: "Chances are good he's not as tough as Girder. Just don't break your hand."
no subject
Cisco is mulling the idea now though.
"We could test it out sometime. I mean, in the interest of science, of course."
no subject
Glancing at MadLeomon, Barry looks around trying to decide which route he's going to take to build up momentum.
"If you need me somewhere else after this dude, just let me know," he says to Yamato.
no subject
"We've finished evacuation and stemmed the influx from the Gate. We just need to deal with the troops already on the ground," Yamato says. He gives a quick nod at the addition, adding: "Roger that. Stay safe."
Then the hologram vanishes, just as MadLeomon finishes crushing the last of the fire hydrant into the dirt.

Turning back to MadLeomon, Barry pulls in a deep breath and lets it out in a huff.
"Okay dude, what do you want to do? We don't have to keep fighting, you know."
